Hi, I’m Rachel a new older/geriatric mum and in another lifetime a Teen mum ( hence the blog name ‘oops mum did it again’ ) I live in the UK with my partner, two children and an anxiety cat.
I’m a mum of two, and my children have an age gap of 25 years. My first born is 26 years old and our newest addition was born in 2025.
When I discovered I was pregnant in my 40s not only did I have the being an older mum worries, I searched and searched for big age gap siblings and apart from the odd article I couldn’t find any connections, so this has brought about my blog and starting a journey of our experience and adventures.
A self confessed chocoholic with a main pregnancy craving of all things sugary, I nicknamed our baby ‘pudding’. One of my favourite things is finding bargains, why pay more for something when it’s cheaper elsewhere right?!
I’m looking forward to sharing our adventures with you, from my pregnancy journey, things I found useful, what parenting is like 25 years on, sibling age gaps to holidays and day to day life.
